The Panther women's golf team finished tied for third among 10 teams competing at the Jack Leaman Women's Golf Tournament hosted by Amherst. Boston University won the event with a 690, while Middlebury came in with a 701.
Leading the team with a second place finish overall was first-year Courtney Mazzei (Larkin Valley, Calif.), who fired a two-day total of 163. Junior Julie Ellenberger (Concord, Mass.) placed fourth with a 168, followed by rookie Jessica Bluestein (Tucson, Ariz.) with a 183, senior Karen Levin (Morton Grove, Ill.) shot a 192, while first-year player Elizabeth Hirsch (New City, N.Y.) came in with a 195.
