The Panther women's tennis team dropped its only match of the week as ninth-ranked Middlebury fell to #3 Amherst, 6-3.

The Jeffs took a 2-1 lead after doubles play, with junior Emily Holick (Sudbury, Mass.) and first-year player Elizabeth Stone (Cohasset, Mass.) picking up an 8-1 win at #2. In singles play, Holick won 6-3, 6-2 at #3, while Stone was a winner in the sixth slot after her opponent retired.
