9/25/05 - The Middlebury College women's golf team finished fifth out of 15 teams competing at the Mt. Holyoke Invitational. Wellesley won the event with a 676, while the Panthers shot a 692.

Leading Middlebury's efforts were junior Kerry Ortega (Clinton, N.Y.) who finished in 10th place with a two-day total of 167. Placing 14th was sophomore Tory MacNeil (Massey, Ont.) with a 169, followed by first-year player Julie Ellenberger (Concord, Mass.) with a 174, senior Sally Hartman (Tulsa, Ok.) with a 183 and junior Allison Ortega (Clinton, N.Y) with a 187.
