Middlebury was out rebounded 50-30 as they fell at Plattsburgh, 77-64. The Cardinals took a 9-1 lead early and then went on a run midway through the first half to take a 45-25 lead into the halftime break. The Panthers chipped away early in the second half, cutting the advantage to 12 with 14:48 remaining. The Cardinals answered and built the lead to 20 before a late run made it a 77-64 final.

Bobby Marcoux led the Panthers with 13 points, Mike Salek added 11, while Evan Thompson chipped in with 10.
