10/16/05 - The Panther women's golf team finished up its fall season with a win at the rain-shortened Wellesley Invitational. The two-day tourney was shortened to one after heavy rains cancelled Saturday's play. Middlebury won the event with a 343, followed by Wellesley with a 345.
Leading the Panthers on the day was a trio of golfers, all shooting 84's. Sophomores Karen Levin (Morton Grove, Ill.) and Tory MacNeil (Massey, Ont.), along with first-year player Julie Ellenberger (Concord, Mass.) comprised the threesome. Junior Allison Ortega (Clinton, N.Y) came in with a 91, while junior Kerry Ortega (Clinton, N.Y.) shot a 96.
