10/1/05 - The Middlebury women's cross country team dominated the State Meet, placing the top 16 runners in a race held in Middlebury. The Panthers won the meet, followed by Lyndon State and St. Michael's.

Winning the race with a time of 19:28 was Makely Lyon. Just one second behind was Evelyn Dong, while Andrea Giddings trailed her by just .6 seconds, with a time of 19:29.6, good for third place. Finishing fourth in the race was Robyn Anderson with a time of 19:45, while Kelsey Rinehart rounded out Middlebury's scorers in fifth place with a time of 19:50.
