Women's Golf Ends Fall With Win At Williams

10/10/04 - The Panther women's golf team ended its fall season with an impressive win at the Columbus Day Tournament hosted by Williams. Middlebury won the event with a 317, 16 strokes ahead of its nearest opponent.

First-year player Tory MacNeil (Massey, Ont.) won the individual title, earning medalist honors with a 76 on the afternoon. Two strokes behind was fellow rookie Karen Levin (Morton Grove, Ill.), followed by sophomore Heather Gallagher (Toronto, Ont.) in third place with an 80. Sophomore Kerry Ortega (Clinton, N.Y.) finished in sixth place with an 83, followed by sophomore Allison Ortega (Clinton, N.Y.) with an 87, good for 12th place.<
