- The hosts responded with a pair of markers under a minute apart. Olivia Croke had a nifty pass to Maddie Hunt who snuck the ball inside the left pipe, before Jenna Stowell found the goal through traffic.

- With 3:37 remaining in the half, Sara Ellinghaus barreled through the circle and found nylon, putting the visitors ahead 14-4 to force running time.
- Susan Rowley capped the scoring, making a move around a defender and eluded Sherbert for the 15-4 advantage at the break.
- Trailing 16-4 with 12:26 to go in the third quarter, Plymouth State took advantage of being up two players. Amelia Thomas fended off a pair of defenders and fired a ball from the right side of the crease into the left panel.
