  • Anna Spehr made it 5-0 with 5:50 remaining in the first quarter. The attacker wrapped around the goal before firing a close-range shot past Hearns.
  • Colby cut the deficit to three (5-2) with a pair of tallies to close out the first quarter.
  • Shue completed her hat trick with 1:11 elapsed in the second stanza with a free-position goal, giving Middlebury a 6-2 edge.
