Men's Golf Finishes Third at NESCAC Championship

The Panther men's golf team placed third as Trinity won its second-straight and third overall NESCAC Men's Golf Championship by four strokes over Hamilton on Middlebury's Ralph Myhre Golf Course. The Bantams shot a 27-hole total of 430, including a 281 on Sunday to capture the title. Hamilton finished second with a 434, followed by Middlebury (439) and Tufts (467).

Trinity's Will Rosenfield took home medalist honors, shooting a two-under-par 69 on Sunday to finish with a 103. Placing second overall was Sam Vogel of Hamilton, who was three strokes behind Rosenfield with a 106 (36-70). Sam Goldenring of Williams (36-71) and Milan Matneja of Hamilton (35-72) rounded out the top four in a tie for third place, each shooting a 107.

Pacing the Panthers was Jeffrey Giguere, who shot an even par 71 on Sunday to finish with a 108, good for a fifth-place tie. Phin Choukas cracked the top 10 in a tie for ninth, coming in with a 110 (35-75) overall. Reid Buzby (37-75) and Philippe Morin (36-76) each finished with a score of 112, while David Packer was one stroke back at 113 (40-73).
