The Middlebury men's golf team wrapped up its fall season by hosting the Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge at the Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vermont. Eight golfers participated for each team, with the top-six scores counting for each squad. Williams won the event with a 447, followed by Trinity (460), Middlebury (464) and Hamilton (476).
Middlebury's Jeffrey Giguere finished in a three-way tie for first place at the event, sharing the honor with Ricky Leme of Trinity and Will Kannageiser from Williams. Each player carded an impressive 71 on the day.
Sean McGarrity tied for fourth overall for the Panthers, coming in with a 74. Finishing in a tie for 11th place was John Mikus, who shot a 77, followed by David Packer, who joined three others in 13th place with a 78. Kenneth Dieker held down the 22nd spot with an 81, while Hogan Beazley (83), Anthony King (84) and Chris Thompson (85) rounded out the Panther squad.
