The Middlebury women's squash team started a busy road weekend with a 7-2 victory over 18th-ranked Dickinson. The 14th-ranked Panthers (9-2) return to the court Saturday when they take on No. 11 Virginia at 10:00 a.m. in a match played at Franklin & Marshall.

In the win over the Red Devils (5-5), the Panthers grabbed an early advantage behind a three-game win from Mira Chugh over Alanis Perez at No. 8 (11-4, 11-3, 11-1). Dickinson leveled the score at 1-1 with a three-game triumph in the second position.

The Panthers tallied victories in the next six matches to finish for a 7-1 lead. Virginia Schaus eased past Aya Sobhy at No. 3 (11-8, 11-4, 11-0), while Gwen Davis edged Carley Barton in the sixth position (15-13, 12-10, 17-15). Hadley Barr made it 4-1 via a three-game victory over Rachel O'Brien (11-3, 11-7, 11-8) in the bottom spot, while Natasha Lowitt posted the team's match-clinching point with a three-game win at No. 7 over Jaime Leigh Edghill (11-9, 11-2, 11-6).

At No. 3, Alexa Comai defeated Eloise Nimoityn in three games (11-4, 11-5, 13-11), while Natalie Madden fought back after losing the first two games for a five-game victory Domenica Romo in the middle spot (4-11, 5-11, 11-8, 12-10, 11-8).

The Red Devils concluded the scoring with a five-game win atop the lineup for the final 7-2 tally.
