The Panther men's golf team opened up its fall season by hosting the 35th Annual Duke Nelson Tournament. Action is taking place at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus. NYU leads the 22-team field with a 291, followed by Williams (293) and Johnson & Wales (294). Middlebury sits in sixth place with a 298 after 18 holes. Second-round play is set to tee off at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
