Two members of the Middlebury track and field teams were in action on day one of the NCAA Championships at the Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
In the men's 10,000-meter race on Thursday morning, Matt D'Aquila finished 15th overall with a time of 32:23.08.
The Panthers had two women slated to run in the 1,500-meter event, but unfortunately Tasha Greene was ill and unable to race. Katie Glew did compete, finishing 20th with a time of 4:51.97. Unfortunately, her time did not qualify her for the finals.
