Men’s Track and Field Secures Multiple USTFCCCA Academic Laurels

The men's track and field team received multiple accolades from the USTFCCCA.

The Middlebury men's track and field team had 18 student-athletes named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic squad. The program also earned the organization's all-academic team honors.

Recent graduates Lachlan Bishop, Owen Johnson and Quinn Kennedy secured the accolade alongside rising seniors Benjamin Hughes, Caleb Smith and Sam Spector. Rising juniors Joey Caspar, Donnell Harvey Jr., Emerson Kington and Cameron Miles also garnered the honor. Closing out the honorees are sophomores Adam Ferreira, Nate Gardner, Ian Larkin, Wyatt Lawton, Kieran McBride, Toby Warmack and Cole Weihs. Student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 grade point average (GPA) and be among the top 50 in individual events or part of a relay squad that ranks in the top 35 according to TFRRS. Competitors who competed at both NCAA Championships are eligible.

As a team, the Panthers earned a 3.65 cumulative GPA, sharing 13th with George Fox University and Washington & Lee University. Amherst College was the lone conference foe to join Middlebury in the top 15 with a 3.66.
