The Middlebury men's golf team finished third among seven teams at the Williams Spring Invitational. The host school won the event with a 577, followed by Trinity (589) and the Panthers (290-303-593). Middlebury returns to the Taconic Golf Club next weekend for the NESCAC Championship.
Reid Buzby led the Panthers at the event, firing a 69 on Saturday and a 72 on Sunday for a 141, good for a third-place tie.
Joe Ko finished in a tie for eighth place with a 150 (76-74), followed closely by
Jeffrey Giguere, who carded a 151 (73-78), good for an 11th-place tie.
Rodrigo Andrade came in with a 152 (73-79) to tie for 14th,
David McDaniel was 18th (75-79), while
Philippe Morin finished with a 159 (78-81), tying for 26th overall.
