Jimmy Martinez earned All-American honors on the second and final day of the 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. The two-day meet was held at the Residence Hall/Recreation Center in Naperville, Illinois on the campus of North Central College. Coupled with the men's distance medley relay third-place finish on Friday evening, the Panther men finished with nine team points.

During Saturday's 400-meter championship final, Martinez ran in the second of two heats. He crossed the line with a time of 49.41, good for fourth in the heat and sixth overall.

The Panthers will begin their outdoor season when they head to California in two weeks for a pair of meets at Point Loma Nazarene University beginning on Saturday, March 25.
