Panther Women End First Semester With Loss to #10 Dartmouth

The 15th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team concluded its first-semester action at home, falling to 10th-ranked Dartmouth by an 8-1 score on Saturday. The Panthers (2-1) have nearly a month off from competition before returning to the court Saturday, January 6 for a road match at Williams beginning at 3:00 p.m.

In the setback against the Big Green (4-1), Caroline Jahrling earned a five-game win at the No. 9 spot in the ladder over Julia Herman by scores of 11-6, 7-11, 11-8, 11-9 and 11-6. Lucy Bostwick earned a game in the top slot of the lineup, while Natalie Madden won the opening game at No. 4 before falling in four games. Dartmouth claimed the other six matches, all in three games.
