The Panther men's golf team placed third among six teams at the Saratoga National Invitational, hosted by Skidmore. Williams won the event with a two-day total of 577, followed by Rensselaer (594) and Middlebury (598). The Panthers wrap up their fall season on Tuesday at the Ekwanok Challenge.
Jeffrey Giguere fired a five-under-par 67 on Sunday to lead his teammates with a two-day total of 143, good for a second-place tie. Jordan Bessalel tied for eighth overall with a score of 148 (73-75), while David Packer joined others in 11th place with a 152 (77-75). John Mikus was next for the Panthers, carding a 155 (78-77), while Ben Slater rounded out the scorers, shooting a 166 (81-85).
