The Middlebury women's squash team defeated Virginia by a score of 7-2 in the Kurtz Cup's 15th/16th-place match at the CSA National Team Championship. The event was held at Yale's Brady Squash Center. The Panthers improve to 2-0 in the all-time series with the Cavaliers and finish the season ranked 15th-nationally with a record of 9-9 under first-year head coach Mark Lewis.

Virginia posted victories in the top-two spots on the ladder for its lone points of the match. Middlebury had three-game wins posted by Beatrijs Kuijpers at #3, #6 by Lucy Bostwick and in the eighth spot by Audrey Ellen. Kuijpers cruised by scores of 11-3, 11-8 and 11-6 over Madeleine Mayhew, while Bostwick completed her perfect 3-0 weekend with an 11-5, 11-6, 11-0 win over Virginia's Carolyn Grenier. Ellen was victorious by tallies of 11-7, 11-8 and 11-7 at #8 against Isabel Stack.

The other four points for Middlebury were produced by four-game wins. Zoe Carey fell behind early against Molly Prockop in the fourth slot, but rebounded to win the next three games (4-11, 11-3, 11-6, 11-9). At #5, Middlebury's Alexa Comai and Virginia's Bella Jones exchanged the opening two games before Comai recorded the win with victories in games three and four (11-6, 6-11, 11-8, 11-6).

The match at #7 saw Caroline Jahrling go out to a 2-0 lead, but the Cavaliers' Amanda Whelan won game three before Jahrling cruised in the fourth for the victory. The final match at #9 witnessed Middlebury's Hope Matthews drop the opening game to Virginia's Candace Craig, but Matthews tallied three exciting game victories for the Panthers' seventh team point.
