With the victory, the seventh-ranked Panthers (14-4-3, 10-0-3) have secured home ice for a NESCAC Quarterfinal game on February 27. The two teams will go at it again on Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. faceoff.

After a scoreless first period in which Panther netminder Julia Neuburger made 16 saves, the hosts went on top 1-0 at the 11:58 mark of the second. Katie McLaughlin scored her ninth of the season as Colby led 1-0 after two.
