Box Score

Trinity used a pair of goals from Kelcie Finn on its way to a 3-0 NESCAC win over fourth-ranked Middlebury (8-3, 4-3) on Saturday. The 12th-ranked Bantams (10-2, 5-2) have now lost just once in their last 10 games, a 1-0 setback to Bowdoin a week ago. The Panthers are back in action on Sunday, hosting Wesleyan with a 12:00 p.m. start, while Trinity hosts Tufts at the same time.

The hosts took a 1-0 lead 10:46 into the game when Chandler Solimine tipped in a shot after a corner from Finn. The would be the only goal of the first half, as the Bantams took a 1-0 edge into the intermission.

Trinity struck quickly in the second half, scoring just 1:15 in when Finn scored on a penalty corner with assists going to Mia Olsen and Nicole Quinlan.

The Bantams gained some breathing room at the 63:06 mark when Finn converted a penalty stroke for a 3-0 lead.

Trinity finished the day with a 16-10 edge in shots, while Middlebury paced the penalty corner totals, 10-7. Lori Berger made six saves in goal for the win, while Emily Miller earned a season-high nine stops for the visitors.
