Middlebury scored nine-straight first-half goals on its way to a 19-2 win over Connecticut College (1-2, 0-1) on a cold blustery Kohn Field. The 10th-ranked Panthers (1-1, 1-1) dominated the game from start to finish and will return to action on Wednesday when they host Rensselaer at 5:00 p.m. The Camels will visit Williams on the same day.

Conn. scored the game's first goal as Hannah Donegan found the back of the net on a feed from Anna Jorgensen just 15 seconds into the game. The Camels would not score for the game's next 34:43 as the Panthers took a commanding lead.

Alli Sciarretta tied the game for Middlebury just 38 seconds after Donegan's goal, scoring on a rebound. Hollis Perticone made a nice drive to the goal before finding Bridget Instrum to put the Panthers on top, 2-1. Katie Ritter cut to her left for the game's next tally before a pair of free position goals put the hosts up 5-1 at the 11:18 mark.

Chrissy Ritter scored driving to the goal before Perticone scored two straight to give her team a 9-1 lead at the break. Her first tally came on a nice cut to the goal and a shot to the upper right corner, while the second tally was scored with a shot through the five hole.

Sciarretta scored the first goal of the second half before Taylor Thomas drove to the net and scored for Conn. to make it a 9-2 game.  Middlebury continued to increase its lead, scoring the final 10 goals of the contest for the 19-2 victory.

Instrum, Sciarretta and C. Ritter each scored three goals in the win, while Perticone, K. Ritter (2 assists), Bea Eppler and Delaina Smith each scored twice. Along with her two goals, Perticone earned five draw controls, caused four turnovers and picked up three ground balls. Laurel Pascal finished with six draw controls and three caused turnovers. Madeleine Kinker earned the win with a pair of saves in 46:16, while Alex Freeman played the game's last 13:44 in her collegiate debut.

Maggie Hogan earned a team-high three ground balls for the Camels, Caroline Moore caused three turnovers, while Thomas and Donegan each had a goal and two draw controls. Meg Raskin made eight saves and allowed 16 goals in 47:20, while Megan Fahey made one stop with three goals allowed in 12:20 of action.
