Box Score

The Middlebury women's hockey team extended its unbeaten streak to 17 games (14-0-3) with a 2-1 road win at Williams (8-10-3, 5-6-2) on Friday night. The two teams will battle it out again on Saturday night, this time in Middlebury's Kenyon Arena at 7:00 p.m.

Middlebury (17-2-3, 12-1-2) took a 1-0 lead just 3:20 into the game via the 13th of the season from Jessica Young. Emily Fluke's original shot was saved before Young batted the rebound out of the air for the goal.

That lead held until the third when Eliza Noyes netted her second of the year 7:31 into the period to tie the game at 1-1.

Maddie Winslow scored the game-winner midway through the third with a five-on-three power play goal. Winslow gathered a rebound after a shot was saved and found the back of the net for her eighth of the season.

Middlebury finished with a 28-20 shots advantage in the game as Annabelle Jones made 19 saves to earn the win between the pipes. Christina Cleroux made 26 stops for the Ephs.
