Box Score The Middlebury baseball team fell to 2-5 on the year after a 14-3 loss to Concordia Wisconsin (4-3) on March 26th in Arizona. The Panthers are off on Thursday before beginning a three-game NESCAC West series with Williams in Tucson on Friday.
Trailing 4-0, Middlebury struck for a pair of runs in the bottom of the first. A double to right by Max Araya plated Alex Kelly, while John Luke later scored on a ground out. The Falcons added two runs in the second before Kelly drove in a run on a ground out in the fourth.
Leading 6-3, Concordia Wisconsin blew the game open with four runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth.
Sawyer Olson suffered the loss, allowing just two earned runs over four innings of work. Mike Yang went 3-3 to pace the Panthers, while six other players had solo hits.
