The Middlebury baseball program secured the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award. It marks the 10th consecutive season that the squad has earned the national academic accolade.

To receive the honor, each program must be a high school or college squad, have a head coach who is an ABCA member and maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale. 

Middlebury is one of nearly 500 colleges and 196 Division III programs to tally the accolade.

The Panthers posted their fifth consecutive season with at least 20 wins (21-15) and earned a spot in NESCAC Championship Weekend.
