Middlebury head coach Missy Foote won her 400th game as the third-ranked Panthers earned a 19-4 win over R.I.T. in a game played in West Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday morning. Foote now owns a career record of 400-104-1 in her 34th season at the helm of the program. She is one of just four women's lacrosse coaches with over 400 wins in the history of the game. Middlebury returns to action on Thursday at fourth-ranked Franklin & Marshall.

The Panthers scored the game's first six goals and never looked back, including a 13-goal first half. Laurel Pascal opened the game with a pair of goals in 26 seconds, while Liza Herzog netted a pair, including on a free position at the 22:25 mark. Trailing 6-0, RIT got on the board at the 19:41 mark before Bridget Instrum and Mary O'Connell each scored to give the Panthers an 8-1 lead.

The Panthers kept coming with a pair from Instrum and the third of the game from Pascal. The scores gave each player a hat-trick and an 11-2 advantage with 8:02 remaining in the first half.

Leading 13-4 at the break, Alli Sciarretta and Pascal each scored on free positions to open the second half. Middlebury allowed just two second half goals and cruised to the 19-4 victory.

Pascal finished with four goals, Instrum netted three, while O'Connell, Sciarretta and Herzog netted two apiece. Catherine Fowler picked up five ground balls in the game, while Pascal earned four. Alyssa Palomba made two saves and allowed four goals in 41:39, while Madeleine Kinker made two stops in a scoreless 18:21.

Four different players scored for the Tigers in the game. Caitlin Conway (18:22, 9 GA, 3 saves) and Elizabeth Hughes (31:38, 10 GA, 5 saves) saw time in net for R.I.T.
