The Middlebury women's squash team, the No. 6 seed in the Kurtz Cup (B Division) this past weekend, posted a 1-2 mark during the event hosted by Princeton. The Panthers, ranked 14th nationally, battled 11th-ranked George Washington in a quarterfinal match on Friday before falling by a 6-3 score to the eventual champions. In the back draw Saturday, the Panthers fell to Williams by a 6-3 tally, but rebounded Sunday for an 8-1 victory over Hamilton. Middlebury concludes its season with an overall record of 9-9, ranked 15th nationally.
