The Panther women's squash team moved into the semifinal round of the NESCAC Tournament before falling to top-seeded Trinity, 9-0. Middlebury earned a bye in the first round, before earning a 7-2 victory over the host school from Hamilton in the quarters. The Panthers return to play on Sunday in the back draw.
Middlebury won five of its seven matches against Hamilton in three games. In the top spot, Abby Jenkins was a 3-0 victory, as was Charlotte Dewey at #2, Tiffany Hau at #4 and Saskia Pownall-Gray in the fifth spot. Zoe Carey earned a 3-0 win at #6, while Anne Wymard (#3) and Katie Dewey (#7) were 3-1 winners.
Against Trinity, Pownall-Gray and Carey both extended their matches to five games, falling 3-2.
