Volleyball Takes Two In Connecticut

The Middlebury women's volleyball team picked up a pair of wins at Trinity on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers earned a 3-0 (18, 21, 21) NESCAC win over the Bantams (11-6, 2-3), before earning a 3-1 (26-28, 13, 17, 22) non-league win over Keene State. Middlebury returns to action on Wednesday when they host Skidmore at 7:00 p.m., boasting a 12-1 record.

Megan Jarchow had 14 digs with a .346 hitting percentage to lead the offense, while Amy Hart added 14 in the victory over Trinity. Kathryn Haderlein earned 34 assists, while Hart (12) and Katie Chamberlain (10) were the digs leaders.

Jarchow again paced the team in kills against Keene State, hitting at a .324 clip with 17 in the match. Piper Underbrink continued her strong hitting percentage, earning 13 kills while hitting .500. Hart added 11 kills, 18 digs and four service aces in the win. Haderlein earned four kills with 42 assists and a dozen digs in the victory.
