The Middlebury men's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a win at the ECAC Championship event. The Panthers finished with a two-day total of 635, 13 strokes ahead of their competition in the 14-team event. Action took place at the Crumpin Fox Golf Club in Bernardston, Mass.
The Panthers cap their stellar fall season with their first Duke Nelson win a first place finish at Bowdoin, winning the NESCAC Qualifier and taking home the ECAC crown.
Fitz Bowen shot a 75 on day two, leading his team with a two-day total of 154 to place second overall. Matt Marra tied for sixth overall, shooting a 158 with a 78 on the second day. John Louie fired a pair of 80s to place eighth, Chris Atwood came in 20th with a 164, while Max Alley rounded out the team with a 168.
