Lauren Greer scored a career-high five goals as second-ranked Middlebury had little trouble with Hamilton (0-9, 0-7), topping Continentals 8-0 on Kohn Field. Middlebury improves to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in NESCAC play, outscoring their opponents 46-9 on the season. The Panthers return to action on Sunday at Connecticut College.

Middlebury opened the scoring at 11:03 with a goal on a penalty corner. Alyssa DiMaio inserted to Margaret Souther, who set the ball for Greer before she released a high shot into the cage. Greer converted a penalty stroke at 15:32, before a centering pass from Charlotte Gardiner found Katherine Theiss for a 3-0 lead at the 20:43 mark. Greer scored her third of the contest  before Theiss struck again, tipping in a shot for the 5-0 advantage. Clara St. Germain made a nice pass to Greer 43 seconds later, with the senior converting in front at 25:55.

Theiss scored her third of the game 5:14 into the second half, converting a great feed into the middle from Gardiner. Greer notched her fifth of the contest just minutes later, scoring on a nice entry pass from Catherine Fowler.

Middlebury finished the game with a 34-0 shots advantage, as neither Madeline Brooks (40:14) or Emily Knapp (29:46) were forced to make a save. Victoria Trentini made 10 saves in 25:55 for Hamilton, while Katie White stopped five shots in the game's final 44:05.
