Men's Golf Wins At Williams

The Panther men's golf team picked up a win at the six-team Williams Spring NESCAC Opener in Massachusetts. Middlebury shot a 301 to win the event, followed by Williams (303) and Trinity (313). Senior Jim Levins (Rutland, Vt.) earned medalist honors, shooting a 32 on the back nine to finish with a 71.

Finishing in a tie for fourth place was sophomore Robert Carpenter-Israel (Bethesda, Md.), who shot a 75, followed by sophomore William Prince (New Canaan, Conn.), who was tied for ninth with a 77. Senior Brian Cady (Rye, N.Y.) came in tied for 13th with a 78, followed by first-year golfer Max Alley (Albany, N.Y.) in 22nd with an 81.
