The Panther track and field teams took part in the ECAC Championships hosted by Springfield College. Sophomore Michael Schmidt (Wilmette, Ill.) won the ECAC Championship in the 5,000, finishing with a time of 14:52. Middlebury boasted three other All-ECAC athletes, with top eight finishers earning the honor.

Senior Mike Waters (Bedford, Mass.) was the other All-ECAC racer for the men, placing seventh in the 1500 with a time of 3:55.15. On the women's side, first-year racer Juliet Ryan-Davis (Newton, Mass.) finished fourth in the 800 (2:14.49), while classmate Grace Doering (Darien, Conn.) was eighth in the high jump (5'4.25").
