Men's Golf In Action At Williams

The Panther men's golf team placed fourth among six teams at the Williams Spring NESCAC opener. Middlebury came in with a two-day total of 644, while the host school won the event with a 604.

Junior Jim Levins (Rutland, Vt.) led the team and was ninth overall with a 156, including a 74 on day one. First-year player Andrew Emerson (Pelham, N.Y.) was next with a 159, followed by junior Brian Cady (Rye, N.Y.), who shot a 164. Junior John Szmyd (Rye, N.H.) had a 165, while first-year player Robert Carpenter-Israel (Bethesda, Md.) came in with a 170 to round out the team's scorers.
