The Middlebury College indoor track teams performed well in Burlington on Friday, taking on the University of Vermont. The women's 4x400 relay team comprised of senior Anjuli Demers (Dracut, Mass.), sophomore Rebecca Fanning (Ipswich, Mass.) and rookies Molly McLean (East Islip, N.Y.) and Juliet Ryan-Davis (Newton, Mass.) set a new school record with a second place finish (4:10.34).
Ryan-Davis also captured the 800 (2:24.98), Demers won the 300 (43.21), while junior Kaitlynn Saldanha (Scarborough, Maine) earned a victory in the 1000 (3:08.21). Also picking up wins for the women were junior Sophia Spring (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.) in the mile (5:16.80), rookie Emily Dodge (Auburn, Maine) won the 55 hurdles (8.91), capturing the high jump was first-year athlete Grace Doering (Darien, Conn.), while rookie Danielle Baker (Glastonbury, Conn.) was a winner in the pole vault (10'6").
Sophomore Marc Delaney (Wading River, N.Y.) picked up wins for the men in the shot put (39'1") and the weight throw (41'5.75"), junior Addison Godine (Milton, Mass.) was a winner in the 600 (1:26.63), while junior Kristoffer Williams (Fairport, N.Y.) won the pole vault (14'5.25").
