Panthers Ends Season At NCAA Men's Golf Championship

Middlebury shaved 27 strokes off its score on day two of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The Panthers shot a 302 on their final day at the event, finishing in 29th place as the top teams advance to the final rounds on Friday and Saturday. Oglethorpe went on to win the event with a four-day total of 1,164.

Jimmy Levins led the team on day two, shooting just one over par with four birdies for a 73 on the day (153 overall). Michael McCormick was just two over par with three birdies for a 74 (155 overall). Ben Kunofsky birdied three holes on the back nine, shooting a 77 for a two-day total of 161. Brian Cady came in with a 78 (162 total) with a pair of birdies, while Ashley Miller shot an 86 (176 total).

Levins led the team on the first day of competition, shooting an eight-over-par 80 with a pair of birdies. McCormick was next with an 81, followed by Cady and Kunofsky, who each shot an 84. Cady had a pair of birdies on the day, while Kunofsky eagled the par 5 seventh hole. Miller rounded out the team with a 90.
