Women's Lax At Wins Williams

Middlebury wrapped-up its regular season with an 18-12 at Williams. The Panthers have earned the third seed for the upcoming NESCAC Tournament and will host sixth-seeded Bates on Sunday at noon in a quarterfinal match-up on Kohn Field.

Middlebury jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the game and never looked back. Williams got on the board to make it 8-1 before the Panthers netted three more to take an 11-1 lead, and an eventual 14-7 lead into the intermission. Middlebury kept up the pressure in the second half and emerged with the 18-12 victory.

Sally Ryan led the Panthers with four goals and two assists, while Chase Delano scored four times. Dana Heritage and Caroline Kirkendoll each scored three goals and earned two helpers, while Elizabeth Garry had a goal and an assist. Blair Bowie made a dozen saves in goal to earn the win.
