Men's Basketball Wins Seventh Straight

Middlebury outscored Colby-Sawyer 44-27 in the second half on its way to a 65-55 road win over the Chargers. The Panthers shot a red-hot 55% from the floor as they won their seventh straight to improve to 11-2 on the season.

Middlebury trailed by seven early in the second half before a huge 21-4 run gave them a 45-35 lead with 10:36 remaining. Tim Edwards scored nine points during the run, as the Chargers came back to cut the lead to six. Colby-Sawyer again trailed by six with 3:48 left, before a quick 8-0 run gave the Panthers a comfortable 14-point lead with 2:06 left to play.

Edwards led a balanced attack with 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, while Ben Rudin and Ryan Sharry scored 11 apiece. Andrew Locke scored eight with three blocks, Kyle Dudley netted eight, while Aaron Smith had seven points and eight rebounds.
