Men's Basketball Tops Union

Middlebury entered the semester break with a 7-2 record as they picked up a 68-52 road win at Union. The Panthers return to action on December 30th when they host Rensselaer at 7:00 p.m.

Leading 20-12, Middlebury went on a 12-3 run to take a 17-point lead at the 3:19 mark of the first half. A pair of threes and another hoop by Ben Rudin led the Panthers during the run. Middlebury kept up the offense and entered the locker room with a 37-19 lead.

The Panthers led by as many as 20 in the second half before coming away with the win. Rudin led the team with 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists on the afternoon. Kyle Dudley scored 16 with four threes, while Ryan Wholey added 10 points in the win The Panthers blocked 13 shots in the game, led by six from Ryan Sharry and four from Jamal Davis.
