The Middlebury men's basketball team opened up its season with an impressive 60-59 win over Bloomsburg at the St. Michael's Classic. Aaron Smith went 8 of 12 from the floor for a team-high 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Kevin Kelleher and Ryan Sharry each scored eight, while Tim Edwards dished out assists and grabbed seven boards. The Panthers shot .448 from the floor on the night. The Panther bench outscored Bloomsburg 26-11 on the afternoon.
