Middlebury suffered its second straight loss as the #2 Panthers fell 4-1 at top-ranked Plattsburgh (21-1). The win avenges the Cardinals only loss of the season, suffered at the hands of the Panthers in November.

After a scoreless first period, Plattsburgh took a 1-0 lead 4:11 into the second session. Shannon Tarrant tied the game for Middlebury at 13:05, with an assist from Karen Levin. The Cardinals answered at 17:17 to take a 2-1 lead into the third period. Plattsburgh would add two third period goals to seal the victory.

Kate Kogut made 19 saves in goal as each team had 23 shots on the night.
