Mickey Gilchrist scored a pair of goals as Middlebury (14-0-1) improved its unbeaten streak to 25 games as the Panthers picked up a 3-0 win at N.E.C. (11-2-1). The loss was the first at home for the Pilgrims this season.

Gilchrist struck in the first period before Jamie McKenna made it a 2-0 game at the 4:41 mark of the third. Gilchrist struck again at the 7:37 mark to seal the win. Rookie netminder Doug Raeder earned his first career shutout between the pipes with 18 saves.
