Field Hockey Moves To 3-0

Lacey Farrell and Taryn Petrelli scored goals less than two minutes apart in the second half to give visiting Middlebury a 2-0 victory over Tufts in NESCAC field hockey action on Saturday.

The first half ended in a 0-0 tie, with Middlebury holding advantages of 9-3 in shots and 7-4 in corner opportunities. The Panthers scored their two goals at 23:10 (Farrell) and at 21:33 (Petrelli).

Meghan McGillen hade eight saves to earn the win.
