Norwich raced out to a 17-0 lead on Middlebury en route to an 86-70 win over the Panthers at Andrews Hall. Middlebury was held scoreless for almost the first six minutes of the contest. The Cadets later built a 29-point lead in the first half before the Panthers went on a 19-10 run to trail 45-27 at the half.

Middlebury pulled to within 13 points early on in the second half to which the Cadets responded with an 18-8 run to build up a 23-point lead to seal the win. Adam Sinoway led Middlebury with 14 points on five of eight shooting.
