11/26/05 - Top-ranked Middlebury scored five first period goals and never looked back on its way to a 9-0 win over Trinity in the Kenyon Arena. Randi Dumont, Erika Nakamura and Alison Graddock each had a pair of goals as the Panthers move to 3-0 on the season.
The scoring began at 4:17 when Dumont skated in on the right side and scored off the pipe. Nakamura got on the board with her first tally of the day at 8:43, when she attempted a wrap around and put in her own rebound. On the power play at 10:55, Graddock deflected Shannon Tarrant's shot from the outside to make the score 3-0. Graddock scored again from the slot after a nice feed from Liz Yale-Loehr at 12:44. Dumont scored her second goal of the period less than one minute later to put the Panthers up 5-0. Rose Babst and Nakamura continued the scoring in the second period with a goal a piece, while Annmarie Cellino and Shannon Sylvester each netted one in the third to complete the 9-0 victory.
Angie Todd made 20 saves in goal to earn the shutout, while Courtney Bergh and Helen McCarthy combined for the same.
