Middlebury's Evgeny Saidachev scored with just 1:23 remaining to lift the Panthers to at 4-3 non-league win at Plattsburgh. Middlebury out shot Plattsburgh 34-25 on the night as the Panthers move to 12-3-1.

Trailing 2-0 after 9:00, Patrick Nugent put Middlebury on the board at 11:37 of the first period with a power play goal. The game remained at 2-1 until Mickey Gilchrist tied the game at the 15:03 mark of the second period. Plattsburgh regained the lead midway through the third period before Brian Phinney knotted the game at three with 5:05 left to play.

Ross Cherry struggled with a pair of saves and two goals allowed in the first nine minutes, while Yen-I Chen made 20 saves to earn the win in relief.
