Women's Squash Wins Two Of Three

The Panther women's squash team was back in action last week as they won two of three matches at the Amherst Invitational. The weekend began with a 6-3 win over Hamilton on Friday, before a pair of matches on Saturday. The Panthers opened Saturday with a 9-0 win over Wesleyan, before falling 8-1 to the host school.

Senior Ashley Pullen (Oakland, Maine) was the lone Middlebury player with three wins on the weekend, one of them coming by forfeit. Winning two of three matches were seniors Holly Haertel (Greenwich, Conn.) and Beth Seeley (Wayland, Mass.), junior Kara Zarchin (Falls Church, Va.), sophomore Hannah Baker (New York, N.Y.) and first-year player Ellie Buechner (Newport, R.I.).
