Middlebury wasted no time getting on the board as Lorna Gifis converted a feed from Emily Quizon just 59 seconds into the game. Shannon Sylvester put in her own rebound at 16:49 to make it a 2-0 game. Middlebury exploded for four second period goals to put the game away, as they out shot Hamilton, 37-8 on the afternoon. Sylvester was the only Panther with more than one goal as she netted two to go along with two assists. Alison Graddock had a goal and two assists in the game, Emily Quizon scored one and added one helper, while Liz Yale-Loehr dished out two assists. Hamilton's Marissa Halligan scored the game's final goal at 13:22 of the third to break up the shutout.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Angie Todd ended the game with seven saves in goal, while Caitlin Connelly and Caitlin McGilley combined to make 29 saves for Hamilton.
