Box Score Middlebury moved to 2-0 in the NESCAC and 3-0 overall with a 7-1 win over Tufts on Kohn Field.
Claire Edelen gave Middlebury a 1-0 lead at the 28:13 mark with an assist from Ashley Pullen. The two exchanged rolls to increase the advantage to 2-0 just 1:23 later. Middlebury held a lead 4-0 early in the second half before Dana Panzer put the Jumbos on the board with 17:17 remaining. Janie Mackey scored her second goal of the game on a penalty corner, before Edelen tallied her second with 4:13 left to give the Panthers a 6-1 lead. Lacey Farrell notched her first career goal with 1:05 remaining to make it a 7-1 final.
Meghan McGillen made two saves in goal for Middlebury, while Angela Rappoli and Marilyn Duffy-Caban combined to make 11 saves in goal.
